Certificate in Table Games Supervision (CTGS)
Individuals planning to start afresh in the casino industry may acquire CTGS to give them a head start in achieving supervisory positions in the casino. It is also designed to suit existing casino croupiers vying for supervisory positions.
Course brief & objective
This course provides comprehensive training in gaming supervision and pit management. It is suitable for those aspiring to become an Inspector, Pit Supervisor or Pit Boss. It includes ICGTC’s unique CASINOLAB® simulator course which allow students get practical experience of table games supervision and pit operations management. Students will get practical experience of using the Casino Pit Management system similar to systems used by large casinos to track gaming table activities.
Entry requirements
Prerequisite: Completed CDCG or at least 1year work experience as croupier with knowledge of Baccarat and Roulette or Blackjack; and
GCE ‘O’ Level, with credit in English and Mathematics.
In the absence of equivalent qualifications, mature candidates with relevant working experience will be considered on a case-by-case basis
Design & content
Course Duration: 132 hours
This course consists of 4 modules theory and practical sessions to be completed in 7 weeks full time or 14 weeks on part-time basis.

This course comes with 50 hours of dealing skills practice time for students who have no previous casino work experience, at no additional charge. Students may use the allocated lab time to sharpen their skills or as refresher before seeking employment.

Assessments & awards
Assessment for most modules comprise of coursework, practical and written examination. Formative assessments will be concluded at end of each module. Final table assessment for game inspection and a final written exam at the end of the course shall serve as summative assessment. Students will be required to maintain at least 90% attendance to qualify for final assessments. Upon successful completion students will receive the Certificate in Table Games Supervision by International Club Games Training Centre.
