Certificate in Casino Management
(Floor Operations) (CCMF)

For those with aspirations to assume supervisory and floor management positions in the casino operations and wish to do a mid-career switch, this certification is the most appropriate solution.

Course brief & objective

This course prepares participants for supervisory and pit operations management positions. It places emphasis on the vocational aspect of casino floor management. The course follows the natural order of learning casino job skills; students will learn the croupier skills first as foundation followed by table supervision before completing the pit management lessons. ICG TC’s unique CASINOLAB® simulator programme provides practical experience of casino operations.

Entry requirements

  • Completed GCE ‘O’ Level, with credit in English and Mathematics
  • At least 18 years of age
  • In the absence of equivalent qualifications, mature candidates with relevant working experience will be considered on a case-by-case basis

    Course Duration: 432 hours

    This course consists of 12 modules of theory and practical sessions to be completed in 5 months full time or 9 months on part-time basis.

    This course comes with 80 hours of skills practice time at no additional charge. Students may use the allocated lab time to sharpen their skills or as refresher before seeking employment.

    Full Time Basis
    Duration 5 months
    4 days/week, 6 hours/day
    12 to 6.00 pm, Mon, Tues, Thurs, Fri
    Part Time Basis
    Duration 9 months
    2 days/week: 3 hours/day, 7 to 10.00 pm, Mon & Thurs
    1 day: 6 hours/day, 2 to 8.00 pm, Sat

    Assessments & awards

    Assessment for most modules comprise of coursework, practical and written examination. Formative assessments will be concluded at end of each module. Table assessment will be done at end of each dealer function module. Final Dealing Audition for all games, table assessment for game inspection and a final written exam at the end of the course shall serve as summative assessment. Students will be required to maintain at least 70% attendance for each module and a total course attendance of at least 90% to qualify for final assessments. Upon successful completion students will receive individual Certificate of Dealing for Roulette, Baccarat and Blackjack and the overall Certificate in Casino Management (Floor Operations) by International Club Games Training Centre.
