Programme & objectives
This programme is jointly developed by Nanyang and
ICG School of Casino & Hospitality Management in Singapore to
cater to the demands of the growing leisure and hospitality
industry. The combination of tourism and hospitality
management modules, casino floor management and vocational
casino games dealing skills sets up the graduates to be
perfect candidates for employment in casinos. This is one of
the leading diplomas in Singapore with a critical component
of 8 months Industrial Attachment in Singapore.
Programmes structure
The total duration of the programme is 14-month
comprising 6 months of theory and practical training on
campus and 8 months of paid Industrial Attachment.

Entry requirements
Applicants must
have the following entry
requirements:
International
Students
- Completion of Year 12 education or equivalent
- Students whose first language is not English must
demonstrate competency in the English language by the
attainment of one of the following (or equivalent): Nanyang
Certificate in General English (Advanced Level), or IELTS
5.0
Assessment & awards
Assessment for most modules comprise of coursework,
practical and written examination towards the end of the
term. The coursework may include case study analysis,
quizzes, tutorial participation, and practical assignments
for the industry-specific modules.
Upon successful completion of all 8 modules, the student
will be awarded the NANYANG Diploma in Tourism &
Hospitality Management (Casino Management) and a Certificate
in Casino Games Supervision by International Club Games Training Centre. A student may also be
awarded additional Certificate in Dealing (Roulette) and
Certificate in Dealing (Baccarat) if he / she is certified
competent in the relevant dealing skills.

The industry attachment seeks to foster professionalism
in student development by placing them in real-world working
environment within the context of tourism and hospitality to
develop their practical skills. This is an attempt to bring
out the theoretical underpinnings of the classroom context
to a demonstration of their understanding and applications
to this dynamic industry.
