CEO's Message

Shaping education for the new world

"I would, therefore, like to make life easier for students by making schools and education generally more like the world that it is preparing people for." (Charles Handy)

Education without doubt is the means to escape from poverty and discriminating social conditions. But education itself is by no means the answer to prosperity, what you do with it, between the means and the ends is what matters. The primary and secondary education that we receive helps shape who we would become and ingrains values in an implicit manner. Tertiary education in tradition continues to provide us depth of understanding, gives us skills to navigate through life and designs our philosophy. Yet tertiary education does not promise success in life or career unless by design it ingrains values, skills and experiences that will help one to adapt to life after school and proceed to build a rewarding career to fulfill the means of education in this new world.

ICG School of Casino & Hospitality Management is the culmination of a deep understanding of the practical needs of education. Starting as a pioneer casino training school in 2006, it fulfilled its vision to be the world's premier casino school. ICG’s team of casino industry and academic professionals deliver specialised job based casino vocational courses which set the industry standard and successfully produced nearly 1,500 graduates whom are sought after by casino operators. I’m proud of our achievements and confident that ICG’s evolution into a full fledged Private Education Institution of ingenuity will continue to shape the design and delivery of high quality education in the region. At ICG we identify employment trends to design specialised courses of immediate relevance for the regional hospitality industry. Our believe in the purpose of education as a tool for career and economic growth ensures that the content is well researched to include knowledge, skills and practical experience that enable betterment in life and career for our students.

To achieve our aspirations to bring new world education of high quality yet affordable, we have partnered UK's Leeds Metropolitan University to review our courses and offer tertiary level programmes that meet the quality and standards of the British education system. Apart from assuring quality education, ICG places emphasis in providing a learning experience that is comfortable yet exhilarating. Ease of learning is the key element of our course delivery methods. I believe learning can be done in pleasing and beautiful environment where students receive 5-star services thus allowing them to focus on their academic performance.

At ICG, our management team and the board of governors have created a thriving organisational climate that is based on planning, research and development and effective management to achieve the vision of ICG.  Our team of new age educators is committed to nurturing a next generation of leaders and professionals. ICG's premium boutique school concept is a first in Singapore and I'm sure students and parents will be pleased with the personalised services we offer.  Our passionate student support team will ensure that students from all over the world are cared for and enjoy a hassle-free education experience.

I welcome you to our world of education where the beauty of learning is redefined. The opportunities are yours for the taking and I wish for your every success.
